Lori Throws with Spin – Grrrr
Throwing is important. Without a good throw, you can’t play. Conversely, if you’re only skill is a good throw, people happily play with you for hours on end.
In Freestyle Frisbee, the main trick is to spin the frisbee on your finger, called the nail delay. The faster the disc spins, the longer it will spin on your finger and the more the trick can be done. So, it is important to throw with lots of spin.
Also, the disc can spin either clockwise or counter clockwise. Different players often prefer one or the other. So learn both if you can.
And, of course, there are endless amounts of trick throws.
